What it does
The Hex ↔ Text Converter encodes text to hexadecimal and decodes hex back to text. Every character is encoded as its real UTF-8 bytes, so accents and emoji round-trip exactly: é becomes c3 a9 (2 bytes) and 🚀 becomes f0 9f 9a 80 (4 bytes). For encoded output you can pick a delimiter — none, spaces, 0x, or \x. 100% client-side.
How to use it
- Pick a direction: Text → Hex or Hex → Text.
- Type or paste your input. When encoding, pick a Delimiter (
None,Space,0x,\x). - Copy the result or Download it as
hex.txt. - Swap flips direction and carries the current output across, so you can convert straight back without retyping.
- The URL always holds your direction, delimiter, and input — copy it from the address bar to share the exact conversion.

Good to know
- Private: runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- Decoding sanitizes input automatically —
0xprefixes,\x, spaces, commas, and colons are stripped first, so you can paste any delimiter style straight back in. - Invalid input shows an error instead of guessing: letters outside
0-9/a-f, or an odd number of digits. - Related tools:
