What it does
A complete, searchable reference for all 128 ASCII code points (0-127), rendered as a plain-text table you can copy or download. Every row shows the decimal, hexadecimal, octal, and 8-bit binary form alongside the display glyph and human name; control characters (0-31 and 127) carry their control-picture glyph and C-style escape sequence (\n, \t, \r, …). Type to search across every field, toggle to printable-only, clamp the code-point range — the table on the right regenerates live and lands in your clipboard or a ascii-table.txt file exactly as shown. Everything runs 100% client-side.
How to use it
- Search - start typing in the search box. Your query matches the decimal, hex, octal, binary, name, character, or escape (try
0x41,Line Feed,\n, orA), or tap a Try: chip (0x41,\n,Delete,Digit) for a one-click lookup. - Filter - toggle All 128 / Printable to show or hide the 33 control characters; set Min / Max to narrow the decimal range (e.g. 48-57 for the digits). The header badge tracks how many of the 128 rows are shown.
- Copy or download - Copy table puts the exact plain-text table on your clipboard (great for READMEs, issues, and terminals); Download saves the same text as
ascii-table.txt. - Share - the query, view, and range live in the URL. Use Copy share link to send someone the exact view.

Good to know
- Control vs. printable follows the standard split: 0-31 and 127 are control characters; 32 (space) through 126 (
~) are printable. Space renders as␣so it stays visible in the text table; controls 0-31 show their control-picture glyphs (␀for NUL,␡for DEL). - Hex / octal / binary are zero-padded to a fixed width (
0x41,101,01000001) so the columns line up and are easy to compare. - Escape sequences (
\0,\a,\b,\t,\n,\v,\f,\r,\e) are shown after the name for the control characters that have a common C-style escape; the rest list only their name. - The text is the artifact - what you copy or download is byte-for-byte what the panel shows, with the name column sized to the widest row in the current view.
- Shareable: the search query (
q), view (view=printable), and range (min, max) are all encoded in the URL. - Private: the table is generated locally - nothing is sent anywhere.
